NOTE FROM ADAM:
“Kill Me Fast” is one of my favorite songs this band has ever written. It’s about ripping the band aid off. It’s a plea to someone who’s already halfway out the door, to just let you go. Don’t keep me hanging on while you figure your life out. It’s about the slow torture of not knowing where you stand. That moment when silence hurts more than the truth, and you’re begging for the cut just to stop the bleeding.

Video by Jose Lun

“KILL ME FAST” LYRICS:

I’ve tried
But I still can’t read your mind
Wonder if there was a sign
That somehow slipped me by
If you’re right at the edge or you’ve found someone else
Let me know

Tell me when it’s over
Don’t make me ask
Come a little closer
And break me like glass

If you’re planning to go
Just don’t leave any hope
That you’re ever coming back
Tell me when it’s over
Kill me quick, kill me fast

I’ll stay
Sleeping in the bed we made
And I hope you know I’ll wait
Never love no one again, not again
If you’re just at the start and I’m still in the dark
Let me know

And just tell me when it’s over
Don’t make me ask
Come a little closer
And break me like glass
If you’re planning to go just don’t leave any hope
That you’re ever coming back
Tell me when it over
Kill me quick, kill me fast

Go and take what you want
Was it me all along
Yeah, I know, I know

But tell me when it’s over
Don’t make me ask
Come a little closer
And break me like glass
If you’re planning to go just don’t leave any hope
That you’re ever coming back
Tell me when it’s over
Kill me quick, kill me fast

Kill me quick, kill me fast
Kill me quick, kill me fast

Our new album Alienation is out August 22nd! Grab Alienation on splatter vinyl, CDs, plus other Alienation merch from the official Three Days Grace Shop HERE.

NOTE FROM MATT:
This song’s about the fire that wakes you up when the world doesn’t. The sun doesn’t rise or set for you — it just keeps spinning. If you want something, really want it, you’ve gotta bleed for it. You’ve gotta be willing to give up everything — sleep, comfort, peace — just to get a shot at being the best. I’ve lived that. I’ve felt the weight of proving myself when no one thought I could. But when you’ve got something to prove and nothing left to lose? That’s when you’re at your most dangerous.

“Dominate” isn’t just a word — it’s a mindset. You take the hits. You push through the pain. You don’t wait — you take what’s yours. That’s how I see it. That’s how I live it. This one’s for anyone who’s ever been counted out — and came back to own it all.

Video by Jose Lun & Melody Myers

“DOMINATE” LYRICS:

Here we fucking go

The sun don’t rise
The sun don’t set
It’s just the world spinning
Think about it
You sacrifice
To be the best
There’s a price to winning
Think about it

There’s nothing more dangerous
Than a man with something to prove and nothing to lose
There nothing more dangerous
Than a man with nothing to lose

I will dominate
Seize the day
Ring the bell
Storm the gates
I will dominate, dominate through the pain, through the pain
Mine to give, mine to take
I was made to dominate

I came to conquer
On to the next
My self-control
To self-respect
See me coming (see me coming)
Feel the threat (feel the threat)
Get under your skin (under your skin)
And into your head

I will dominate
Seize the day
Ring the bell
Storm the gates
I will dominate, dominate, through the pain, through the pain
Mine to give, mine to take
I was made to dominate

There’s nothing more dangerous
Than something to prove
Nothing more dangerous
Than nothing to lose

I’m here to claim
The battleground
Annihilate
You can’t stop me now

I will dominate
Seize the day
Ring the bell
Storm the gates
I will dominate, dominate, through the pain, through the pain
Mine to give, mine to take
I was made to dominate

I was made to dominate

NEIL ON “APOLOGIES” & ALIENATION
This song’s a mirror for anyone who feels like they’re too far gone to be loved. How it hurts more knowing someone did love you—just not enough to save you from yourself. Apologies don’t rewind time.

Alienation is a journey through inner collapse and outward defiance—The songs reflect isolation as a condition of existence, not just circumstance. Some of what we write about – anxiety, addiction, heartbreak, disconnect, are often a different wave of the same storm. And yet, buried in all the wreckage is something human—still reaching out.

2. Apologies

“APOLOGIES” LYRICS

When every thought says jump
When every thought says
Just give up
How else can I survive
Another day of being alive

Caffeine, nicotine, amphetamines
Running through my bloodstream
Trauma, drama, another vodka
Turn into a monster
Damaged baggage, turned savage
Do it every day, call it a habit
You want problems, I got em
Keep on sinking never hit bottom

All the love you tried to give to me
Was never enough, I’m sorry but
No amount of love could ever be
Ever enough, ever enough
I’m sorry, but

When every thought says run
When I can’t stand to be someone
Who’s done the things I’ve done
I’ll blame it all on being young

Give me caffeine, nicotine, amphetamines
Running through my bloodstream
Trauma, drama, another vodka
Turn into a monster
Damaged baggage, turned savage
Do it every day, call it a habit
You want problems, I got em
Keep on sinking never hit bottom

All the love you tried to give to me
Was never enough, I’m sorry but
No amount of love could ever be
Ever enough, ever enough
I’m sorry, but

There’s no saving me
I’m sorry, I’m all apologies
All the love you tried to give to me
Was never enough, never enough
I’m sorry, but

I’m holding anger like a hammer
Leaving all who love me fractured
I’m so ashamed I can’t erase it
Nothing you can do
Is ever gonna change it
(It’s never enough)

All the love you tried to give to me
Was never enough
No amount of love could ever be
Ever enough, ever enough
I’m sorry, but

There’s no saving me
I’m sorry, I’m all apologies
All the love you tried to give to me
Was never enough, never enough
I’m sorry, but
