Walk/Run For The James Fund

11 Oct 2011

Hey 3DGer’s On October 30, 2011, my wife and I will be participating in the Walk/Run for The James Fund. We have chosen to support The James Fund because our own son James was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was not quite two years old. James underwent multiple surgeries to remove a large tumor that had surrounded his spinal cord and grown into his chest. Eight months later the tumor had grown back and since it didn’t respond to chemotherapy James underwent another surgery to remove as much of the disease as possible. There is still a small tumor in James’ back however thankfully there has been no change in its size in over 2 years! He is a happy and very active 5 year old who never ceases to amaze us, both with his strength and his bravery. Our James is one of the lucky ones. The majority of the children diagnosed with neuroblastoma are not as lucky. This dreadful cancer has now been deemed the leading cause of death by disease in children. Last year the supporters of our team JAMES ROCKS!, donated over $23,000 towards an event total of $50,000! We can’t thank you enough for your support! If you would like to donate, you can do by CLICKING HERE. Thanks again for your support….it means a lot.

Cheers, Brad 3DG
