Attention all fans! We’re having a contest to design the artwork for Neil’s bassdrum head that will be displayed onstage every night during the Uproar tour this fall! Here are some details: – The possibilities are endless so be creative! Any theme you want – it doesn’t need to reflect any current 3DG artwork. Remember, go ahead and make it crazy, but not cheesy!
– Must be a high res image, 10″x10″ with 300dpi. Keep in mind the image will be placed on a 22 inch circular canvas
– No band name
– Submit your entry to [email protected]
– The current design is shown below as an example. Notice the 4 inch hole on the bottom right. Keep this in mind in your design Three Days Grace will select the top designs and post them in a Facebook gallery. Fans can vote for their favorite designs by liking them on Facebook. Submissions end August 21, Sunday night at midnight, voting will take place the following Monday-Tuesday. At the end of the tour, we’ll autograph the drumhead and send it to the winning artist! A one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia used by the band and created by you!!

Three Days Grace are performing at KISS Fall Fest in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, October 7th. Tickets on sale on August 10th at 10am local time: click here.
The first single from Transit Of Venus, will be available on August 14th. “We went for a tighter, more articulated sound on this record, ” said Neil. “The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we’ve been experimenting with new instruments. We wanted to present these new ideas concisely without going over-the-top in ambience and overall production.” Produced by Don Gilmore and recorded at Revolution Studios in Toronto, Transit Of Venus will be available for pre-order on iTunes also on August 14th.
